Forty Years of History
Rego began in Toronto in 1986 with a simple standard: know the client, understand what he needs, and take care of the details properly. Four decades and three generations later, that approach still guides everything we do.

Where It Began.
Fernando Rego Sr. built Rego in Toronto around personal service, strong judgment and clothing made with purpose. From its home in the Financial District, the business grew one relationship at a time, serving professionals who came to value having someone they could trust with the way they dressed.
The store has evolved & wardrobes have changed. The responsibility & service to our clients has not.
The Tradition Continues.
Knowledge at Rego has always been passed forward: how to read proportion, how to understand cloth, how to recognize what suits a client, and when to recommend less rather than more.
Today, the third generation of Rego carries that experience into a modern wardrobe. Keeping what matters from the past while helping clients dress for the way they live now.
Some Things Don’t Change.
Understand the client. Recommend honestly. Make things properly. Be there when he needs you again.
Over four decades, that consistency has earned the trust of generations of Toronto business leaders, public figures and professionals. The relationships were built quietly, one client at a time.

Precision, Developed In-House.
In 2002, Fernando Rego Sr. developed The Fitter™ to capture the measurements, posture and proportions that shape the way a garment sits on the body. It gave Rego a more consistent way to record the information behind a client’s fit.
Knowing the Client.
Measurements are only the beginning. Over time, we learn how a client prefers his clothing to feel, what already works in his wardrobe, where he spends his time, and which pieces will actually earn their place.
That accumulated understanding is what we mean by Sartorial DNA: not simply a set of numbers, but a clearer picture of the person we are dressing.

Exchange Tower. Toronto.
For forty years, Toronto’s Financial District has been home to Rego. It is where generations of clients have stopped in before work, between meetings and ahead of the moments that mattered.

Forty years of experience matters because of what it allows us to do today: understand you faster, guide you better, and build a wardrobe that feels considered from the start.
